A few semesters back Planet College discussed the vote, specifically your vote, and college students.
You can read that discussion here . That post is about students registering and then voting. Not unexpectedly much has changed in the campus environment and political climate since that post.  Some students, recognizing that practically everything school related and otherwise can be accomplished on line, now wonder why they can't register to vote on-line.  Well, now, or soon, you may be able to register to vote the same way you've been doing everything else.  The ability of a student to register to vote on line has for the past while been receiving the support of several individuals and organizations.  These people and groups have substantial respect for the power of students to affect the future by change in the present. A search for registering to vote on line can
yield useful results.  Start looking soon. A national election is pending in a few months.  There are also numerous local election which feature candidates and issues that can benefit from your participation. Look into this when you get time.  It is your future.
